It comes down to any mistakes often become instant deaths or close to instant wipe outs. So, do I think Tier 8's should drop with Tier 10, for me yes I love it, but I imagine for so many others it is a complete nightmare as the "power gap" between 8 to 10 is a big gap but it can be overcome!! The problem is, you get this in all Tier 10 games or all Tier 8 games, it is just less "obvious" unless you know what to look for! (Even I got caught in a Des Moines yesterday by an Ohio who chunked 37k in 3 hits lofted over an Island I assumed was safe. However the real issue is players with less experience who think their Tier 8 Bismark is going to do "huge" secondary damage to an Ohio and Stalingrad!!! or the dude in the Oland who thinks he is god only to get Radar and Hydro'd by a Daring/Moskva pair! Even more annoying is the Radar Edinburgh who "alone" thinks he is going to catch the DD's in cap only to get removed by Shikishima first volley! I love the Tier 8 v 10 battles when no CV is present!! it is THE easiest way to Grind XP for the next Tier ship! (useful on first grind or when resetting for RB) (we also won't mention CV Games here)
